Rumah Singgah Sultan

The Siak Sultan's Shelter House is the house of Mr. Kadhi of the Kingdom of Siak, H. Zakaria which serves as a stopover for the Sultan of Siak Sri Indrapura when he visits Senapelan (Pekanbaru).

The Sultan Siak shelter is inseparable from the long history of the development of the Siak Sri Indrapura Kingdom. At that time Senapelan was in a strategic area in terms of trade traffic and supported by the calm conditions of the Siak River. In addition, the Senapelan area also makes the village hold a good cross position with the interior of Tapung, Minangkabau and Kampar. Considering these favorable conditions, Sultan Abdul Jalil Alamuddin Syahregion moved the center of the Siak Kingdom from Mempura to Senapelan and became the capital of the Siak Sri Indrapura Kingdom around 1775.

Rumah Singgah Sultan Siak adalah rumah milik Tuan Kadhi Kerajaan Siak, H. Zakaria yang berfungsi sebagai tempat persinggahan bagi Sultan Siak Sri Indrapura apabila beliau berkunjung ke Senapelan (Pekanbaru).

This Rumah Singgah Sultan is bit weird. Can't go inside the building during my visit. It was locked.Access was easy, located just on the banks of the Siak River. There is a small promenade near the building for you to walk along the Siak river. You can also see the Pekanbaru bridge number 3 since it is located just below the bridge.

Rumah Singgah Tuan Kadi atau dikenali dengan Sultan Siak. Lokasi nya di Desa Wisata Kampung Bandar Senapelan, Pekanbaru. Rumah yang berlokasi di tepian sungai Siak ini sering dijadikan rumah istirahat.
