Cold but pretty and picturesque!! Walked our way from our Magnificent Mile / Michigan Avenue hotel towards North Ave Beach for a great shot of ChiTown Skyline Shots! Worth it!!

Nice beach with a pedestrian bridge that takes you to Lincoln Park Zoo. The parking lot at the Zoo is expensive. $35 for 5 hours but the zoo is no charge.

I love coming here to play volleyball. There are plenty of poles so you just need to bring a net and a ball. There's a great view of the skyline if you go out to the southern tip of the beach which extends further into the lake.
The most happening beach in Chicago full of events and beach volleyball courts. Also home of Castaways where you can eat and drink from atop of converted boat and people watch. You can rent jet skis, kayaks, paddle boards, and even jet packs.
This beach gets somewhat crowded during the summer making it uncomfortable. There is almost never any room to lay a towel down because it is the most popular beach
