The ancient city of Petra is located about 250 kilometers south of Amman, Jordan. It is a famous ancient city in Jordan, hidden in a narrow canyon connecting the Dead Sea and the Aqaba Strait. In ancient times, it was an important trade route center and the capital of the kingdom of Erdom. Since 1812, many monuments have been discovered one after another, most of which are carved on the rock wall of a deep valley. It is one of the key cities for tourism in Jordan.
