Mui Ne Fishing Village
4.2/5
215 Reviews
Rural Area
Mui Ne Fishing Village is located in the eastern part of Mui Ne. The fishing village still maintains its original appearance, plain and natural, both a fishing port and a beach. Walking down the steps of the fishing village to the beach, fishing boats of different sizes and colors are pulled up onto on the shore, taking on the appearance of toys from a distance. Here, visitors can enjoy beautiful sunsets and taste delicious seafood.

Town
Mui Ne, located between Ho Chi Minh City and Nha Trang, boasts beautiful beaches and sand dunes; it was listed as a tourism development area around 1995. The former Mui Ne was a fishing village and its main source of income was the production of fish sauce. Now, Mui Ne is a famous seaside resort in Vietnam. In recent years, hotels and other resort facilities have rapidly emerged here; the availability of other thrilling activities, such as windsurfing, has also increased significantly.

Geological Sites
River
Fairy Stream flows through the sand dunes and rock formations on the east side of the city of Mui Ne. Hidden within the dense forests, it possesses distinct karst landforms. Walking in from the small alley, a series of stairs leads to the Fairy Stream. The deeper visitors venture, the more fascinating it becomes. Beneath their feet a soft reddish mud squishes and the water is very clear. The sand on the bottom of the streambed is very soft. The shallow water trickling just beneath the insteps of one's feet is pleasantly cool and relaxing. Entering the Fairy Stream and moving forward, a vista suddenly opens up before the visitor as the stream becomes wider. To the left is a high rock band colored brightly orange-red, while the right has swathes of broad-leaved evergreen trees. When visitors reach a high point on the reddish terrain, they can view Mui Ne far below them.
Red Sand Dune

Desert
The famous Red Sand Dune rises near the coast. The sand is soft and comfortable underfoot. There are dense forests to the north and west of the sand dune. When taking a photograph, you are able to capture both the sand dune and coastal forest. On one side is the sea, on the other side is a desert. The depths of the natural desert beauty include freshwater lakes, alongside the lake grows tall and deep tropical jungle vegetation. The red and white sand dunes are wrapped in green trees, with blossoming lotus flowers floating upon the lake. The wind blows and the waves surge, the jungle treetops rustle along the shore and the grains of sand drift away without a trace.
