Ao Nang is Krabi's vibrant tourist centre. It has the relaxed atmosphere of a small town, the beauty of a beach resort, the modern comforts of long-tail boat tour.
It's also a center for long-tail boat tours to the beaches of limestone islands such as Ko Hong, Ko Poda and Ko Gai (Chicken Island)
Beautiful beach with amazing restaraunts and so so many shops to choose from. Great food, whether you are looking for authentic Thai food, Indian or western dishes you cant go wrong. They also have an amazing selection of seafood to choose from at great prices.
There was a lot of trash from the restaurants and from beach goers. my husband and i went down to the beach and picked up trash for an hour and filled three bags. it’s a beautiful beach, but the water is a bit murky. Beautiful sunsets, though!
