Ao Nang Beach

Song Thaew is Thailand's one public transportation. From International or Domestic Arrival Hall, you need to get outside of the airport and walk to the main highway (approximately 10 minutes walk). I was sweating like a pig that time since I arrived in Krabi at past half 8 in the morning. I've waited like 10 to minutes before a Songthaew going to Ao Nang beach passed by. Since this was my first time in Krabi I'm not familiar with the place (literally). Through the help of the locals and Google Map, I arrived in iRest Seafront safe. I paid 50 baht for the entire trip and the travel time was 45 minutes with minimal stops. You may also consider a shared van transfer from Krabi International Airport to your hotel directly. Transfer per passenger is 150.00 baht whilst private car transfer starts at 500.00 baht for 3-4 passengers. WHERE TO STAY IN KRABI I usually look at my accommodation depends on my budget and how long I'll be staying. I stayed in iRest Seafront and I booked my bunk bed for 380.00 baht per night. Later on, I found out that I booked a simple, clean, and literally walking distance to Ao Nang Beach. [Krabi] Eat more than addiction, cheap seafood buffet recommended! In the 5 days of Krabi, although I have eaten seafood every day, I always feel that I am not addicted to eating. Inadvertently found this seafood buffet restaurant, called [TONG TALAY], the seafood is very fresh. Big head shrimp, crab, oysters & various shellfish are all available in unlimited quantities. There are also some seafood that I can't name, and there are really many kinds. There is a small stove at each table, and the seafood is baked. There is also a large processing table on the side of the restaurant, which is responsible for steaming crabs, opening oysters, grilled fish, and picking up seafood for yourself. Seafood is chilled and live. The live seafood must be placed in the ice bucket for 30 seconds before being processed. Otherwise it will be snarled on the stove, very scary. In addition to seafood, there are also cooked food, cold dishes, fruits, desserts and ice cream. Drinks are also available in unlimited quantities.
