pxy0705Phatthalung is a very quiet and quaint town in Trang. There are no tall buildings here. It feels like returning to China in the 70s and 80s. The people here are very simple, giving people an illusion of time travel, it is really very warm and beautiful.Nearby City

The station is a convenient stop to many local restaurants, expat watering holes, and tour offices. M30***41Fantastic boat trip on the Songkhla LakeI think this boat trip really deserves a separate listing. Many of the reviews about “Songkhla Lake” are about the statue that is at the entrance of the estuary of the lake, not about the lake itself. The lake is fantastic but you have make a boat trip to really appreciate the beauty. We paid 500THB for an hour to our “captain”. The boats are simple. There is no cover to protect you from the sun and there are no life vests. We did two trips. We went on two trips, the first before sunrise and and the second around sunset. During daytime it will be too hot. Just make sure that the weather is a bit stable and predictable before you go. Otherwise it might be too dangerous.Nearby City

听说Dragon Cave is one of the most famous scenic spots in Trang, the magnificent art created by nature, and it has the title of Unseen Thailand scenic spot. There is a waterway through the cave, which is composed of multiple stone chambers. Stalactites of strange shapes cover the whole cave. You can only see but not touch the stalactites in the cave!
