About Philippines

The Philippines is a land of a thousand islands and each has its own characteristics. Boracay is known for its fine white sand beaches and spectacular sunsets. Bohol sits on an underwater fault where large schools of fish dance among the corals. Palawan’s otherworldly landscapes are enchanting and make El Nido a great place for a romantic holiday. The shipwrecks in Coron Bay are a playground for divers, as are the many smaller islands with their own majestic underwater worlds.

Trip Moments

What are the fun places in the Philippines? Before you recommend, think about some necessary dry goods!

I have to be the first to explain the Philippine visa. This is also the most important preparation before departure. The Philippines is not a visa-free country, and there is no landing visa policy. Everyone must apply for a visa in advance (a separate paper visa). The expedited processing will be signed in two or three days, basically a 100% signing rate and a fee of 480.

However, it is important to note that holders of valid Chinese passports and valid US, Japanese, Australian, Canadian, and Schengen visas are eligible for travel and can stay in the Philippines for 7 days.

[tip country]

Philippines is a tipping country. In general, hotel waiters are 20-50 Philippine coins, masseurs and tour guide drivers at 50-100 Philippine. Note that don't give coins. In many tipping countries, if you give a coin to the other party, the other party will think that you think of him/her as jealousy. This is rude and extremely disrespectful of the other's labor service.

[Basic preparation before departure]

The weather in the Philippines is summer all year round. It has no spring, summer, autumn and winter, only the rainy season and the dry season. Therefore, sun protection is ready to be done. Sunglasses, sunscreen, anti-mosquito (a lot of sea trees in Kohlong Island), swimwear, slippers, sun protection clothing. Some hotels may not provide toiletries, so it is recommended to prepare them in advance.

Relative to European and American countries, the outlets of Philippine hotels are similar to those in China, but some hotels also need to convert plugs. It is recommended that you prepare a conversion plug, just in case.

After entering the country, you can purchase a local mobile phone card at the airport. Or rent a portable Wi-Fi in advance. I usually use Roaming Superman myself.
