The Sihanoukville Bronze Statue Memorial Hall is located in the center of the main road in the center of Phnom Penh, across the street from the Independence Monument. The weather was very good on the day when I went to Phnom Penh, and the sun shined on the bronze statue, which gave a sense of holiness.
From the Friendship Tower along the highway, you can see the Independence Monument. It was built to commemorate Cambodia's independence from French colonial rule on November 9, 1953. It was completed in March 1958. It is 37 meters high and has 7 floors. There is a snake god (a symbol of Cambodian culture) and a famous landmark in Phnom Penh. There are a lot of traffic. It is also a roundabout. Pay attention to traffic safety. There is also a king monument next to it. After dinner, you can take a walk along the Independence Monument. The lights are beautiful and the atmosphere is beautiful. Although there are many cars on the road, be careful to cross the road. The pedestrian walkway is very wide. Walk a few laps and then go back to take a bath. It is great!
When you come to Cambodia, you must visit the Sihanoukville bronze statue Jinyangtang, just like when you are in China, you must visit the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall in Beijing. The Sihanoukville Bronze Elephant Memorial Hall is not as majestic as imagined, but he handled it on the entire square, witnessing the most prosperous place in Cambodia getting better step by step, whether it is night or day, whether it is sunny or rainy. I think many foreign friends come here to take pictures. They all want to leave their mark on Cambodia.
I don’t know why it’s called Prince Sihanouk’s Memorial Hall. The memorial hall in China must be very large. For example, the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in Guangzhou is a very large garden, and the memorial hall here is just a pavilion. Below stands a statue of Prince Sihanouk with a height of 4.5 meters. During the day, he is just a pavilion on the square. But at night, I think the scenery here is quite beautiful, especially the spire above the memorial hall. The lights are not so flickering at the time, but they are very gentle.
I believe that every Cambodian people will never forget their Prince Sihanouk, who led the Cambodian people out of the French colony and made great contributions to the independence of Cambodia. So I come to Tongxiang every day to take a look. This time it was a coincidence that a bird happened to be on top of King Sihanouk Qin's head. He also seemed to stand on the shoulders of giants, looking at the current peace.
Free attractions. 100 meters to the east of the Independence Monument, in the very center of Independence Square, stands the Statue of King Father Norodom Sihanouk. Sihanouk died of illness in Beijing on October 15, 2012, at the age of 90. The Royal Government of Cambodia expressed its gratitude to Norodom Sihanouk, the father of Cambodia’s independence and national reconciliation, for his historic contributions to national sovereignty independence, national reconciliation, peace and development, on February 20, 2013 Construction of this memorial hall began on October 8th of that year. The pagoda with the bronze statue is 27 meters high, and the bronze statue is 4.5 meters high. The pagoda is decorated with gold leaf.
