It's very worthwhile not to recommend walking from Kata Beach in the past (we can see the map shows that 2.5 kilometers is not too far to walk. As a result, the two roads that retreat to the mountains are sloping, very tired, and the key unsafe highways are running very fast.) It is suggested that the Laweihai Sea be the place where a car from Kata departs from Naihan Beach and Shenxian Island returns. Both beach and Kata viewing stations are on the way, and drivers will ask if they want to stop and take pictures. (When passing through the Kata viewing platform, we asked us to stop and take pictures?) We told him that he came up yesterday and looked at it and thought it was still depressed.) The cost is not expensive to go back and forth 900 baht (we are bargaining). It's about 2.5 hours to have a good breakfast next to the Kata Spa Resort Hotel. The price tag on the car bag is 1000 baht back and forth.
The Karen Observatory is a very worthwhile scenic spot on Phuket Island. It is located on the top of the hill south of the Kata Beach District. It overlooks three main beaches of Phuket Island at the same time: big and small Kata and Karen. [Transportation] There is no bus stop near here, and only chartered cars, TUTU cars, or motorcycles can come to the viewing platform. We are motorcycles around the island. We come to this viewing platform by ourselves. Starting from Badong Beach, we ride sheep all the way to Karen and Kata, and then to the viewing platform, which can be reached in half a day. Although called Karen viewing platform, the viewing platform is actually located in Kata Beach, from Kata along the seaside highway south, about five minutes will see Karon Viewpoint's large LOGO plate, after getting off the bus along the stone steps up the hill, you will come to the viewing platform. The viewing platform is actually a pavilion which arrives at the highest point along the mountain road after getting off the LOGO license plate. Looking down from the pavilion, you can see clearly that the three beaches, big and small, Kata and Karen, are arranged in three lines in front of you. Because the three beaches are different in depth, you can also appreciate the change of the color of the sea water.
On the Kata Beach viewing platform, you can see the three beaches, big and small Kata and Kalon. In this viewing platform, there is a pavilion for visitors to rest. Here's a good perspective. Suggestions can be made to see the sunset, which is pleasant both physically and mentally.
The scenery is beautiful. It's worth taking pictures. When you come down, you can go to some cliff-side restaurants for dinner. After descending the steep slope and walking to the left for about 10 minutes, it's Little Cata Beach. It's beautiful and fine sand and shallow water. You can swim. There are also places on the beach where fruit juice is sold. We ordered a car to take us to take pictures with baby elephant, then to Karon view point, end up at the place where we had dinner, and finally pick us up at the beach. Very recommended! If you are physically fit, you can go on foot.
The view point from the top can oversee the whole karon beach! Super nice view in Phuket!
Karen and Kata are silly and indistinct, but they should be in the same place. The reason for this confusion is that the observatory is located in Kata but its name is Karen. It's very troublesome for me to come over. I suggest taxi or newspaper. The view is good if the weather is fine.
The best sunset scenic spot, of course, is the fairy Peninsula ~ ~has been satisfied, so long, see the most beautiful sunset, none of them!
Viewpoint is amazing, but the day we went up was quite cloudy. Eventually it cleared up a bit for the susnet. But the views were breathtaking, being able to see the jungle canvas and the beaches down below. Quite a drive or hike up, but definitely worth the views.
I did this as part of a tour and you really don't need to spend a lot of time here. We used a car to get up to the view point. It wasn't crowded. The view is spectacular and you can see the different islands from there. I would also think the sunsets from here are glorious having witnessed them from the beaches. Something to do with the family or part of a day tour.
