What people are saying:

This attraction was brought into fire by the 007 movie. It was once the filming location of the 1974 007 movie "Man with the Golden Gun". A stone resembling a Chinese cabbage stood in the sea, commonly known as "Chinese cabbage." With the popularity of the movie, this place has become a must-see for every tourist, and it has earned enough popularity for decades. Although the island is overcrowded, it is possible to take a photo with people in the background, but it is still popular.

Additional Information

Introduction

James Bond Island, or Ko Tapu, is a 20 meter-high limestone tower karst located in Ao Phang Nga Bay National Park. It was a filming location for the 1974 film “The Man with the Golden Gun” as well as the 1997 film “Tomorrow Never Dies”, leading many people to call it “James Bond Island”. The original name of the island is Ko Tapu, meaning “nail” or “spike”, is fitting as it stands upright in the sea like a nail. The bottom of this small island has been narrowed by seawater and wind erosion, while the top is wide and flat, spotted with trees.
