What people are saying:

There are many reasons to visit this attraction. The first reason is the interesting exhibition about the restoration of the mural and the painting itself, "The Triumph of Death". The second reason is the tombs themselves. Not all tombs are hundreds of years ago, and some are from the 21st century. The third reason is the cultural relics of the church. From my perspective, all kinds of creepy boxes, but this is not everyone's opinion. Finally, given the noise and disturbance of the outside world, this is a very peaceful place.

    Great wall paintings

Just forget it used to be a graveyard, and just focus on the great wall paintings. You could spend quite a while admiring all the details (at least for the ones that are not damaged).

    City Jewel #5

Camposanto – gothic cemetery with beautiful frescos from XIII century; one of a kind experience. I have never seen a cemetery that is built in the way this one was, it’s an architectural magnum opus.

Not the first church that is built on Roman graveyards.

Just as the Saint Pieter in Rome the Duomo was built on the former Roman graveyard. Next to the duomo there is the holyfield the camposanto . It contains a lot of those Roman graves as well as beauti...
