An ancient European architecture, one of the most important landmarks in Melbourne, is adjacent to Carlton Garden. Having been here several times, I haven't seen any exhibitions. Maybe the building itself is a good exhibition. Looking at the pictures, you can see that this is a very worthwhile place to go. Walking east along the tram line for 6 - 7 minutes is a European style town, which is also worth seeing. Look at the pictures.
