The mountains rise steeply from a high plateau and extend for approximately 40 miles (64 km) along the Slovakian-Polish frontier, varying in width from 9 to 15 miles (14 to 24 km). About 300 peaks are identified by name and elevation, the highest being Gerlachovský (or Gerlach) Peak.Although it has no glaciers or permanent snowfields, the range otherwise resembles the Alps.

The fun of hiking Tatra Mountainsm Because we usually work in front of the computer every day, we are extremely lack of exercise, so we agreed to go out to climb the mountain together at least a year, and we can see the beautiful scenery and exercise our body and mind when traveling. Why not do it? This year we all took advantage of rare manufacturers to come to Central Europe, this time we plan to be one of the top tourist experiences, Slovakia up Tatra Mountain. Because the mountain traffic is not very convenient, we are driving to the Upper Tatra Mountain. I plan to just experience the beautiful scenery of Tatra Mountain first. The boulders, lakes and snow peaks in the distance are all the best parts of this place.
