The Port of Corricella Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
A superb travel guide to the island of Procida, Italy
✨A truly colorful island, a dazzling gem of the Mediterranean!✨
🌈Procida Island is located in the Bay of Naples, Italy, and is the smallest island in the Campania archipelago. It has almost completely preserved the characteristics of Mediterranean islands. With the unique advantage of 'small but complete', it has been selected as the Italian Cultural Capital for 2022.
🛥Transportation: It can be reached by boat from the Naples pier, about 1h boat ride.
🌈Corricella is the oldest fishing village on Procida Island, with quiet streets, brightly colored houses, blue sky, characteristic churches, sparkling sea, making everyone who comes here linger.
🎬Because of its typical Mediterranean fishing village style, it has been chosen as a shooting location for many movies, such as 'The Postman', 'The Talented Mr. Ripley'.
🏰The core area of the island, Terra Murata, is the highest point of the island, with a castle standing on the sea-facing tuff cliff. This area is very unique, still maintaining its original appearance after three hundred years, preserving medieval houses with courtyards and gardens, churches, palaces, and castles. Walking through the narrow alleys, it feels as if you have been taken away from the original time and space by magic.
💰Price:
💶The cost of taking a boat to Procida Island varies depending on the season and type of boat. Generally speaking, a one-way boat ticket from Naples to Procida is between 10-20 euros.
💶The ticket prices for touring and visiting historical sites on Procida Island are not fixed, you can generally consult the local tourist office or ticket office of the attractions.
💶The cost of accommodation and dining on Procida Island also varies depending on personal needs and seasons. Generally speaking, the price of a mid-range hotel is between 100-200 euros/night, and the cost of dining varies depending on personal taste and restaurant grade.
😍In general, Procida Island is a must-visit tourist destination. Its colorful houses arranged in a disorderly manner make tourists extremely happy. For those who are vacationing by the sea, the ideal place to go is the fishing village. The scenery here is so beautiful that people linger, as if they are in a fairy tale world! Don't forget to share your travel photos and experiences!✨🌈🌊🗺️🏨
Morandi-colored small fishing village | Procida Island, Italy 🇮🇹
Procida Island has been selected as the 2022 Italian Capital of Culture with its La Cultura non Isola project, making it the first island to receive this honor. The name has a double meaning, as Isola means "island" but also "isolation" (isolare) - culture will not be isolated, and culture is not an island. 🏜️
.
🚤Arrival method: Take a boat from Naples Pier for about 1 hour and you will see the colorful houses 🌈scattered here like a fairy tale world.
.
💙Attraction recommendations:
🔹Corricella
The small fishing village with the color of Morandi is bright and lovely. Taking photos on the street corner of the village is like a postcard of Procida Island.
.
🔹Terra Murata
Located on the mountain wall in the Corricella harbor, the literal meaning is "territory within the city walls". Many medieval buildings on the island are distributed here, facing the sea. Through the old iron windows, you can see the charming scenery of the Bay of Naples.
.
🔹Isola di Vivara
Vivarara Island is a small island southwest of Procida, connected by a pedestrian bridge. Vivarara Island was closed for many years and reopened in 2017 as a nature reserve. It is a nesting ground for migratory birds and offers guided tours by appointment with the Procida municipal government.
.
🔹Spiaggia di Chiaiolella
A beautiful and comfortable beach, facing the sea without being blocked by high mountains, with bright sunshine and warm seawater, where you can still swim until October.
.
⚠️The best time to travel is late summer and early autumn, when the crowds of summer vacationers have started to leave and the weather is still sunny and beautiful. Easter is also a fun time to visit, as the island hosts one of Italy's oldest Easter parades, with participants dressed in medieval costumes and wearing sheep horns 🐑.

Manarola Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
The most beautiful town in Cinque Terre
#winhkflight #manarola #cinqueterre #laspezia #Italy
Manarola is the most beautiful town, out of the 5 towns in Cinque Terre. Manarola is the most beautiful town because the houses over there are bright and colourful. Is picturesque. I would recommend to stay a night here to enjoy their local culture and their outdoor activities instead of the touch and go. Their outdoor activities include boat riding, sunbathing, swim at the harbour and cliff jumping. If you are dare enough, you definitely wanted to the cliff jumping. You should also enjoy their gelato and seafood.
I want to travel to Hong Kong to experience a different culture and enjoy their food.
Cinque Terre - Manarola
Located in Northern Italy, Manarola is a small coastal community and one of the five villages that makes up the beautiful Cinque Terre region of the country.70 meters above sea level top towering rocks and cliffs. Therefore, the views are extraordinary stunning.
Manarola is known for many things including the locally produced wine called Sciacchetrà. Despite its small size. From the little town you’ll get the best views of the colorful homes looking out to sea. if you want more adventurous, you might soak in the clear, deep waters of this harbor.
Furthermore, you could do some walk around this coastal town. There are some trails link between the towns here along the coast. Which is one of the best ways to explore more in depth of this region.#awesomepic #couplestrip #mytripvlog #summervacation #2023travelwish #europe #europe #italy

Treasure town of Pienza in the original camera of Tuscany, Italy
The Italians in this town never hesitate to praise the passers-by, or the shopkeepers will warmly compliment you for being beautiful today. Here, you can always find a sense of relaxation and confidence in life. Italy, it has never been a country, it is a pure way of life. The town is beautiful, of course, so am I.
Flowers and the ancient city of Pienza complement each other
Pienza is a small town next to Siena in Italy. You can take a public car from Siena, but you have to wait a long time. If you take a taxi, it will cost about 100 euros, which is the price of taxis in Europe.
On the way, you will pass sunflower fields. The flowers are in full bloom in May and June. There are also unique houses, farmhouses, rivers, and valleys, which are definitely worth savoring.
Many people choose to walk from Siena to Florence. In fact, the road from Pienza to Siena is also worth a trip. As long as you pick up a good map from Google, you won't go wrong following the navigation.
Go to the town of Pienza to eat bread with meat, original flavor, just sprinkle a little salt, simple and delicious.
