What people are saying:

This is our last place in Shangri-La before going out and we are glad we did it. We had a tour guide recommended this place on the last outing. We saw many wild animals in a small space, as well as toucans, Caymans, a few goshawks and their babies, frogs, butterflies, and a gnashing teeth. They put a motherboard near the reception desk where you can find sloths, but they are hard to find. One usually pointed it out but we could hardly see it. There was still construction noise near the reception and it took away the experience. We can hear the entire time the equipment in the next room is running. I don't know if the building of this hotel is a new building or something else. The cost is $20 per person and $15 per person to guide or follow a guide. We took a few trip guides during this week and decided to go to this hotel. We can have many wild animals in one place by ourselves, except for gritted teeth. There are other tour groups also there at the same time.

    Ridiculous hours

This museum has ridiculous hours when it is open and it is closed when it says it is going to be opened. It's a five kilometer walk from the center of town and to find it closed is really annoying.

A great introduction to wildlife on the Valdes peninsula

This museum of sorts showcases the whales and other marine life found in the Valdes peninsula and further south in Antarctic waters. There's a great view of the bay to be had if you climb up to the 2...

    Beautiful and very educational

Staff was very knowledgeable and answered many questions. Beautiful location. Gorgeous viewing tower. My kids loved the tidal pool display with live crabs, urchins, sea stars, mussels, etc.

    Interesting Concept

Located on a cliff overlooking the Patagonian Sea, this small museum offers a different approach to understanding the Valdes Peninsula and Patagonia. It combines art and science in many educational w...
