The Pula Arena was built in 27 BC and was not completed until AD 68, with a capacity of 23,000 spectators. It is located in the city of Pula on the Istrian Peninsula in northwestern Croatia. Now it is the venue for concerts and film festivals. It is one of the six ancient Roman Colosseum with relatively well-preserved overall structure in the world, and it is also well known to the world. There is also a passage built along the main axis, from which the former gladiators and beasts were released to duel.
