Masiyan Temple

It was founded in the Dali period of the Tang Dynasty, more than a thousand years ago, and is the oldest existing rock temple in Puning. Legend has it that this temple was the first dojo of the Tang Dynasty monk, Great Britain, and it has been revived and destroyed several times. This temple is a compound building built in successive dynasties after Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty. It consists of a main hall and wing rooms on both sides. In front of the gate, there is a wall surrounding the arch, and the gates on both sides are opened, and the top of the hall is a hard top. There are countless boulders in front of the temple, if standing or sitting, like monks listening to the Dharma; behind the temple there is a thousand-year-old banyan tree with interlaced roots and knots, protruding and circling, like a group of dragons robbing treasures; on the left side of the temple there is a boulder shaped like a horse, which is called "stone". Ma neigh wind"; on the right side of the temple, the clear spring can be seen coming out of the stone crevice and pouring into the monk's kitchen, which is called "washing bowl flowing spring". Legend has it that Han Yu visited the Great Britain at this temple when he was treating the tide, and there are still the old sites of "Xiema Hall" and "Hanma Stone" next to the temple. Since its establishment, the Masiyan Temple has become famous and incense endlessly, attracting countless tourists.
