About Qatar

Qatar is located on a peninsula in the Persian Gulf abutting Saudi Arabia. The country’s economy is dominated by oil and natural gas exports, which have allowed the Qatari government to accumulate tremendous wealth. Lavish spending on museums and other tourist infrastructure has helped increase Qatar’s international reputation. Set to host the 2022 football World Cup, this investment should continue into the foreseeable future. In the capital Doha, visitors can tour the Museum of Islamic Art. Designed by I.M. Pei, this extraordinary museum showcases some of the best examples of art from around the region. The Katara Cultural Village offers a taste of traditional Bedouin lifestyle and flavor. With luxury developments and grand shopping plazas, Qatar is well positioned to attract visitors from around the world.

Haibin Road is one of the famous waterfront docks in the Middle East. In the middle of the seaside road, there is a large street park, Beida Park, which has many artistic sculptures reflecting the traditional customs of the Gulf Arab countries. It is often held here for large-scale open-air celebrations. There is also a large sea otter sculpture, a landmark artwork on the seaside road, which symbolizes the glorious past of Qatar's fishing industry. Walking through the greenery, the beach and the carved works of the forest, listening to the birds, smelling the flowers, and watching the scenery, it is very pleasant.
