The ANZ Banking Museum

The museum itself is quite small, below street level, but opens a concise window to learn about the country's early banking. More spectacularly, however, this super beautiful room is still used as a regular bank. The floors, walls and ceilings are simply breathtaking and a reminder of the wealth of local gold that once poured out here. It is credit to the World Bank and it is so beautifully preserved. The vaulted ceiling securities trading room is also well worth a visit.

A fascinating look at the history of Australian coins and banks. There are coins and notes from the 1800s to the present. There are also typewriters and computers from the ancient times of ANZ Bank. It is small and you only need to spend15-30 minutes to see everything. If you are interested in the history of coins and banks, it is 5 stars. If you are not interested, then I may not disturb. But be sure to visit the Gothic bank upstairs. Amazing building.
