The Eagle's Nest is a famous Alpine attraction, built on the top of the mountain at 1885 meters high. In 1937, the guest house was built as a birthday gift for Hitler, and then the Eagle's Nest became a place for Hitler to entertain allies and meet with the Gestapo during wartime. Today, the Eagle Nest is open to tourists and has become a mountaintop restaurant and an observation deck.
