Devonport

An Auckland resident who spent the summer in Devonport recommended that we escape the city on Sunday afternoon and take a boat to this beautiful seaside town. There are many Victorian buildings here, full of lush green areas, which makes people feel relaxed. There are several boats parked in the port, and the scenery is very beautiful throughout the afternoon, like a postcard scenery. The historic hotel The Esplanade is right next to the pier, offering delicious lunches and luxurious interiors. I'll be here soon by boat. The first stop in New Zealand came to Devonport. Unfortunately, it has been raining and there are not many people on the street shops. Oakland postcards are not as good-looking as Queenstown. You can take a 12-minute ferry ride from the Ferry Building to Devonport on the opposite shore (15NZD/person round trip). As an Aucklander, I often go to the hotel, but yesterday I took a different route to explore. I got on the ferry to Bayswater, through the beautiful seaside suburbs, through streets and parks, and finally to Devonport. There are many things to choose from here. First of all, there are many cafes to choose from on the waterfront, main avenue and surrounding streets. And there are many kinds. If you are adventurous, you can walk to the top of Mount Victoria, which is narrow and steep, but you can enjoy beautiful views of the bay and the surrounding city. And there are many trails to walk along the mountain. If you are a bit adventurous, you can walk to North Head for about 15 minutes to explore this marvelous reserve, where there are ancient naval relics and even more beautiful bay and port scenery. You can also go to the beautiful Vic Theatre to watch a movie-you can get a special ticket and preferential ferry prices. Or sit on the beach and have a picnic. There are many options. Devonport provides many services for locals and tourists.

Devonport is a spectacular bay landscape where the bay has many grotesquely shaped rocks that stand out above the sea and are washed by waves. The waves are so big and the seas are constantly scouring the bay, so it's great for surfing, and it's fun for many fans.
