This lighthouse on east of island at Harrison’s Point small car park absolutely stunning views a must if in area.
Today we tried to visit the lighthouse, however the narrow lane was blocked with burning metal and other materials - we decided not to try to go further!!
Having belatedly read that you could access it, we actually turned around and left because it felt like we were trespassing! Very isolated and tricky to find. I wish we had been braver!
Lovely way to see the south east coast. The lighthouse is in the process of being restored. The rugged landscape is in beautiful contrast to the crashing waves.
Having used local transport to get here, which is not well signposted if you are visiting via hire car. The bus driver dropped us near a gap in the road and told us where we should head. We arrived e...
