Aalborg, also translated as "Alburg city". The port city of the northern Jutland Peninsula in Denmark, the capital of Nordjylland, Linlim Waterway, with a population of 10,000 (1983), is one of the oldest cities in Denmark, built in 1342. There are steel, shipbuilding, cement, chemical, textile and food industries. There is a Christian IX pontoon bridge (580 meters long) across narrow waterways connected to the city of Norlesonby.
