This is a little museum you should not miss out on when visiting Yogyakarta. Easily accessible on the airport road to city center, it is actually the house where the painter Affandi lived himself. He built it to fit his ideas about art and space. Now it is a museum with about 250 of Affandi's painting, and also Affandi's grave.

4/5ExcellentArtwork is one of the attractions that Yogyakarta has. Because yesterday when I was on vacation there, I took the time to visit one of the maestro's houses which is now being used as a museum. Now the maestro's house is better known as the Affandi Museum. The name of the museum itself is taken from the maestro's real name, "Affandi".
