In October in Manila, clouds roam in the sky. Rain and sunshine alternate to nourish the city. Because of the delay of the previous flight, I missed my flight to Bacolod, and I spent half a day in Manila after the change. It happens to be used to visit Fort McKinley, the largest U.S. military cemetery in the Far East, which is said to be the second largest of 24 such buildings overseas in the United States, after the Normandy cemetery in France.
