The cathedral is the center of the city. It is also very pretty from the inside. Just a couple minute walk from the main street in the city.

Gothic architecture is spectacular, and the entrance from the side door feels tranquil.

Yamien is 140 kilometers away from Paris. It became the textile industry center in the sixteenth century. Yamian Cathedral, built in 1220, is the largest cathedral in France. At the end of the nineteenth century, Jules Verne, a famous French writer, lived in Amien for a long time and wrote some world famous works, such as "80 days around the earth", "mysterious island".

Amiens, a small-looking town in the suburbs of Paris, is a world cultural heritage. Many Gothic bishops think it is aesthetically fatigued, but they still say "bedroom" when they go around the front. I have seen some pictures before. Maybe the twin towers are more oppressive and their sculptures are more cumbersome than Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. The quiet and tidy city overturned my impression of France.
