It was built during the Shunzhi period of the Qing Dynasty. It has been more than 300 years since this day. It is a cultural relics with a long history in Shanwei area. 🏮 Because most of the fishermen in Shanwei migrated from Fujian, they were extremely religious and trusted with Mazu, so they chose a good place in the west section of Shanwei Street and made a special trip to the Mazu Temple on Putian Weizhou Island in Fujian to cut the fire and divide the spirit. 🏮 In the time of the unpredictable and the waves, only Mazu, the escort goddess, gave the fishermen comfort. With the development of history, the fishery in Shanwei prospered every day, and the small fishing village developed into a famous fishing base in eastern Guangdong. 🏮 Recently, due to the impact of the epidemic, plus the street rectification around the third road, several visits have been closed.
