Rich in heritage, culture, and effortless cool, Arab Street is wildly different during the day from what it's like at night. Both versions are worth experiencing. The shops that sell carpets, turkish lamps, textiles, crafts, items of traditional commerce, interspersed with cafes, independent clothes boutiques, Malay and Arabic restaurants, and arts centres, museums and attractions like the iconic golden mosque that brings the area together. When the sun sets the area comes alive with bars, restaurants, and even jazz music (at Blu Jazz Cafe on selected nights), and stays awake till late.

This is not just a tourist attraction but an ethnic enclave and hangout for locals. There is an iconic mosque here and distinctive architecture. Plenty of eateries, with halal food and hipster cafes. Enjoy an afternoon here browsing the many quaint shops and sipping a local teh tarik (tea) or arabic mint tea.

Amongst the diversity found in Singapore, Arab Street shines as a special gem. I love strolling the alleys in this area - there are murals, small shops selling items you would not find elsewhere in Singapore. The food here is great too, although it is pricier than other local food places since this area caters more to tourists. The 100% Arabica coffee shop here is always busy and packed, but it’s a great place to recharge with some coffee. Arab Street is a wonderful place to chill and snap some awesome photos.

Very Arab-style place, even the restaurant is open by many Arabs, and there are paintings to draw. It’s cool.

Arab Street is a vibrant and colorful district in Singapore, filled with great places to shop, eat, and explore. I recently had the pleasure of spending a few hours exploring this area and I was amazed at how much there was to do. From the beautiful architecture, to the amazing street food, to the unique boutiques, I was pleasantly surprised at how alive the area felt. The best part of Arab Street is the array of food options. There are so many delicious restaurants to choose from, all serving up flavorful and authentic dishes. My favorite was the noodle shop that had some of the best Pad Thai I'd ever tasted. The venue also had a wide selection of international flavors, from Indian curries to Lebanese wraps.Apart from the food, the boutiques and souvenir shops are also worth exploring. The colorful displays of jewelry, clothing, and other knick-knacks are a delight to look at and the prices are also very reasonable. I was also delighted to find a small hookah bar, which added a touch of Middle Eastern charm to the area.In conclusion, Arab Street is a great place to visit if you're looking for some interesting sights and delicious food. Whether it's shopping, eating, or discovering something new, you can find something to do here. Highly recommended!
