There are twelve avenues scattered around the Arc de Triomphe, one of which is the famous Champs Elysees Avenue, which connects the Concorde Square to the Louvre. The nearly two kilometers long avenue is known as one of the most beautiful streets in the world. The west end of the Champs Elysees is the Arc de Triomphe, which runs along the extension line to the new business district of LaDefense in Paris, where there is the Grande Arche, and the east end is the Place dela Concorde in Paris. Along the extension line to the Louvre, it runs through the Arc de Triomphe de Carrousel, which forms the central axis of Paris.
