This is one of the seven pilgrimage churches in Rome, conveniently just a block(ish) away from the metro stop. The facade towers over the piazza, yet beckons you in. Whether you're here for sightseeing, architecture-observing, or spirituality-seeking, you feel a sense of simultaneous awe and calm when you leave.
