The Angkor Academy of Arts and Culture is a public welfare institution in Cambodia. It was completed in 1992 and is located in a lane near Siem Reap Night Market. This is Cambodia's education department, which set up a traditional arts and Crafts Vocational and technical school to preserve the heritage of Angkor Wat's ancient civilization and art. Here we can learn the traditional techniques and professional skills of wood carving, stone carving, silverware, lacquerware, color painting, silk painting and silk. School workshops are available for visitors to visit. The Angkor School of Art, though small in scale, has lush tropical trees, flourishing flowers and sculptures of figures everywhere in the garden. Red walls, green trees, stone paths, winding paths, very Khmer amorous feelings, like a beautiful garden school. The craftsmen of Angkor Art School own 20% of the school and own their own trade unions. Their wages are higher than the Cambodian average. Among them are deaf-mute, disabled and young people from poor families. They depend on their own resources and work with both hands to pursue their happy life. This is an art workshop set up by a French charity for poor students in Cambodia. There are scenes showing their work and art sales hall. Its silk scarf is the best in the world, with excellent quality, and Buddhist stone sculptures, silverware, mahogany carvings and silk products.

We visited several workshops there. It was very interesting. Sometimes we touched this one and that one. The children liked it very much. The goods were exquisite, but the price was a little expensive. For many tourists, this price is a bit difficult, but we still bought some lovely little things.
