I've always had some resistance to visiting zoos. I like to see animals, but I don't like to see them suffer in crowded and uncomfortable environments. This is the first zoo I've seen that provides enough playground for every animal, with a variety of natural ecological environments. The most impressive features are the Bat Bird House, the Otter Pool (with windows to let you see the otters face to face when they are swimming), and the tram that can climb up to the top, the exhibition area and the spectacular view of the Bay from different perspectives. It's a bit remote, but it's worth the extra journey.
