The renovated Cape Manuka Lighthouse stands proudly at the front end of the Oveto Peninsula, overlooking the choppy sea. What makes this lighthouse unique is that it is one of the few New Zealand lighthouses that allow visitors to climb to the top of the tower. The lighthouse gate is open daily from 9am to 5pm. No tickets are charged but donations are welcome.

There are fewer people, and they don't feel crowded. The beach is still very good, but the traffic is not very convenient. But you can also surf here.

The Ovito Peninsula is located southwest of Auckland. It is more suitable for tourists who like to travel by car. In addition to playing in the center of Auckland, they also play surrounding attractions. Public transportation to the Ovito Peninsula is not very convenient, only self-driving tours.

The first time I saw the black beach, the scenery without the waves was curious and it was worth coming!
