Baalbeck Roman Temples Review

The Temple of Baalbek is the most famous monument in Lebanon, located nearly 100 kilometers northeast of Beirut, Lebanon's capital, about 1160 meters above sea level. I think it is the most worthwhile scenic spot in Lebanon. It is about 90 kilometers away from Beirut, but it is a mountain road and the drive is about 2 hours. Since the locals' driving habits are super savage, it is not recommended to drive by yourself. It is best to go in winter and pass the snowy mountains. The scenery along the way is beautiful.
