Ban Ko Lanta Review

We really enjoyed visiting the old town of Lanta and spent a few hours wandering around. There are lots of parking lots near the pier (with big lobster!). The toilets are in this area too. There are some very interesting old shops, most of which are open, selling souvenirs etc, one of which only sells hammocks of various colors. There are many restaurants but not all restaurants are open due to lack of visitors due to Covid. Another benefit was finding a small local museum. Despite the donation box, admission is free. It contains many fascinating artifacts and many old photos. It takes only about 30 minutes to walk, but worth the time. Will we visit again? Exactly possible.

I like the feeling of a very casual place in the old town of Lanta. There are many beautiful houses here. It is very suitable for walking slowly. It feels very comfortable. When you are tired, you can eat authentic Thai food here. It is very good.

I especially like the old town of Blue Tower. The buildings here are old and have a Nanyang feeling. It is also very close to the beach. The beach is beautiful and the sea is very clear, and there are not many tourists. It is a special place for leisure.

The old town is the earliest place where people live on Lanta Island. Fishermen go out to sea from the nearby pier to fish, and gradually gather into a small seaside village, leaving a lot of old houses.

The old town of Blue Tower is a Thai town with a very simple folk customs. The exterior walls of the houses here are painted colorful and very distinctive. The houses in the old town are more than two-story riding buildings. The first floor is opened by some small shops or restaurants. Visit here to feel it. The real old Thai town is really delicious.

Lanta Town is the heart of Krabi and the business is very developed. The streets are full of shops and restaurants. And Krabi Island's iconic various shapes of street lights are mostly in the old town of Blue Tower, which is a small town with a Thai island style, you can slowly experience it.
