Banska Stiavnica Review

Banska Shkavnica is located in the crescent area of the Karpah Mountains, the mineral-rich volcanic area of the heart of the Shkavnica Mountains. The world heritage sites around the city include the old city of Glenzeburg, Shkavnica, Steno Castle and so on. Known in the 12th century, it has historically served as a defensive, religious, and political function. It is a center of mining and industry. It was selected as a World Heritage Site in 1993.

The feeling of coming here is very leisurely, although the humanistic landscape is not very beautiful. But this town feels very clean.

Banska － Shijiavnica, a town on the outskirts of Bratislava, is a mining center in historical Slovakia. The town is quiet and tidy, the streets are small, and there are small Eastern European-style houses on both sides.
