This is the National Sculpture Museum although it actually houses a lot of decorative art, as well as what we more traditionally call sculpture (like marble and bronze statues). The most famous works here are a Bacchus by Michelangelo when he was a young artist, and a number of works by Donatello in a room dedicated to that artist. But a visit should include browsing the other, less-trafficked rooms such as the impressive collection of Renaissance maiolica, the cabinet of precious historic jewelry (it's so cool!), and upstairs, the coin collection. Hey, wanna see my coin collection? Yeah, that kinda thing. Except that the coins are in some cases huge bronze medallions and in very limited edition versions. Take at least 2 hours to really explore this place, away from the crowds.
