Compared to its counterparts, the Uffizzi and the Accademia, this little museum is a small feat. It features an outdoor courtyard surrounded with famous sculptures by many of Italy’s famous artists. Inside there are rooms dedicated to the different versions of David that have been sculpted over the years.

Really good museum in Florence that's not crowded, and it's nice and cool in the atrium inside. A good escape from the crowds.

The Museum has a remarkable collection of sculpture and works of art. It occupies an impressive building built for the Capitano del Popolo in the mid-13th century.

My favorite museum in Florence. It is a must see for the statues. There are a lot of works by Michelangelo including the Bacchus.
