Home to the oldest house in Miami Dade County, surviving every hurricane. Modern houses are developed after the structural plan of the house here. The guy who built the place was very interesting so if you like history and have an hour or so kill in Coconut Grove, check the place out (it's only $5/person). The park itself is nice and quiet and happens to be across from some great restaurants.

This is the perfect combination of natural and human landscapes. The unique mangroves, flowers and ancient buildings are interesting. Walking on the soft beach, my heart is greatly relaxed.

Bring your own picnic to this beautiful park at the bay. A winding path through a shady hammock leads you to this lush inviting place, which gives you the feeling that you have discovered a secret garden. The Barnacle itself is the oldest house in its original location in Miami Dade County. Built in 1891 it was the home of one of Coconut Grove’s founders, Ralph Middleton, who also was an avid sailor and yacht designer. The old boat ramp still leads out to the ocean. Feel free to let your imagination fly into the horizon.

Located in the heart of Coconut Grove, this park is a hidden gem of the neighborhood. Wander through huge Banyan trees into an open park right on the Bay
