This is the perfect combination of natural and human landscapes. The unique mangroves, flowers and ancient buildings are interesting. Walking on the soft beach, my heart is greatly relaxed.

Bring your own picnic to this beautiful park at the bay. A winding path through a shady hammock leads you to this lush inviting place, which gives you the feeling that you have discovered a secret garden. The Barnacle itself is the oldest house in its original location in Miami Dade County. Built in 1891 it was the home of one of Coconut Grove’s founders, Ralph Middleton, who also was an avid sailor and yacht designer. The old boat ramp still leads out to the ocean. Feel free to let your imagination fly into the horizon.
