This elegant 14th-century church will take your breath away. Don’t be put off by the somewhat austere exterior – the basilica inside is similarly sparse but simply spellbinding. The church is constructed in the Catalan Gothic style; a three-nave structure with the side naves half the width of the central one. Aim to visit on a Sunday – if you’re lucky, you might catch a wedding ceremony being performed inside. There are also concerts that take place here regularly (check the schedule in advance for full details).
