    There isn't much to see here but the Bastille is an icon. Worth checking out and there are plenty of cafes and boutiques nearby. An easy add-on to a visit to the Marais.

    Bastille is a long obelisk standing in the center of a wide public square. Where the obelisk stands was once a prison. However, no vestige of it remains.
