Beijing Shouyun Iron Park Review

Shouyun National Mine Park is located in Jugezhuang Town, Miyun County, covering an area of 3.58 square kilometers. It is the rare theme park of mining tourism in China so far. It is the first example of synchronization of iron ore operation and theme tourism in Beijing and even in the whole country.

As a native of Beijing, it was the first time I found an iron mine in Beijing. This is called Beijing Shouyun Iron Mine located in Jugezhuang Town, Miyun County, Beijing, is a state-owned medium-sized metallurgical mining enterprise integrating mining, mineral processing and vertical furnace roasting continuous production technology. It is one of the key mining enterprises of the former Metallurgical Department and belongs to Shougang Group. It is also the largest state-owned metallurgical mining enterprise in Beijing. It was shocking to see a huge open-pit mine for the first time. Now it has been developed into a mining tourism theme park.
