The Bern Cathedral is one of the iconic buildings. It is a large Gothic building with the famous Last Judgment reliefs and painted glass from the 15th century. There is a pipe organ built of 5,404 brass pipes, the largest in Switzerland. The 18th century organ will play wonderful music during Christmas and concerts. Also, follow the 254 steps of the church's spiral staircase to the observation deck in the middle of the church. On the first Saturday of each month, the cathedral’s square also hosts a handicraft market.

The Bern Cathedral is located on the high slope of the riverside in the old town. It is free to visit and is not allowed to take pictures. The main altar is under maintenance. The organ in the church is playing before 5 pm and it is worth enjoying. The garden next to the church can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the old town.
