To me, no Manila vacation is complete without a visit to Binondo. Known as the world’s oldest Chinatown, this colorful district in Manila always sweeps me into bliss with its delicious eats, such as fresh lumpia, noodles, rice toppings, siopao and Dim Sum. A must visit here is Dong Bei Dumplings, home to arguably the best tasting dumplings and friend pancakes in Manila’s Chinatown. After your eating spree in Binondo, be sure to walk around slowly, and be enthralled by its sounds, sights and smells.

Not far from downtown Manila, the city is a gathering place for Chinese. The local church of the city is very famous. The hardworking Chinese are busy and you will experience life and vitality. The faithful in the Christian church light candles and pray for silence.

Binondo is a district in Manila and is referred to as the city's Chinatown. Its influence extends beyond to the places of Quiapo, Santa Cruz, San Nicolas and Tondo.
