Bitan is a landmark of Xindian and one of the eight scenic spots in Taipei, especially the Bitan Suspension Bridge. Traveling on a swan boat with family and friends in Bitan is a common memory of many Taipei people. In addition to the pleasant green water, the surrounding scenery is also very good. The left bank of Bitan can walk along the Hemeishan Trail, which is divided into two parts: the Blue Line Waterfront and the Green Line Pro-mountain. The color difference of the railings leads to the literary trail of Xindian Ferry and the Hemeishan Peak respectively. The Lion Head Mountain on the right bank of Bitan is composed of five hills, which rise and fall, overlooking Bitan, Xindianxi and the second highest mountain in the north.
