The Blanco Renaissance Museum Review

Blanco is the most famous and successful artist ever in Bali, and has a collection of works from various periods of his career. The museum is in a very good location at the intersection of two rivers.

Beautiful building and garden. Awesome experience, wandering around, enjoying the oil paintings and various displays in the museum (photographs are not allowed in the main building). Not many tourists, so we can freely wander at our own pace. Tickets are amazing, expensive (by Bali standards), yes, but worth it - after seeing a lot of Bali temples and traditional architecture and art, it feels great to see something different. There are not enough words to describe the strange and beautiful place. The artwork is wonderful. The garden is breathtaking. The building itself is art. It is heartening to see Don Antonio Blancos' true home and studio. This museum tells the story of an extraordinary person who shows you the old Bali. Nobody should miss it.
