Located on the west side of Paris, on the edge of the 16th arrondissement, Bois de Boulogne is a perfect place to quit city life for a while and enjoy some quality time in nature. With it being the second largest park in Paris it is also the perfect spot for runners. There are so many different routes so whether you're looking to go on a short run or a super long run this park is worth heading out to.

Walking on the colorful fallen leaf blanket of the Boulogne Forest, the scenery in late autumn is so beautiful, walk slowly, listen carefully, listen to the happy things of the big swans and dogs, feel the tranquility away from the bustle and hustle and bustle.

If you want a breather from the city then head over to Bois de Boulogne for relaxation, one of the largest parks in Paris. The park contains two artificial lakes and eight artificial ponds connected by three artificial streams – a good excuse to hire out a boat for the day and view the woods from the water.

For jogging, make the boat, go roler, biking, take a picnic lunch or take the air and oxygen to the lungs

This is what you do on your very first day in Paris. You get yourself, not a drizzle, but some honest-to-goodness rain, and you find yourself someone really nice and drive her through the Bois de Boulogne in a taxi. The rain’s very important. That’s when Paris smells its sweetest. It’s the damp chestnut trees - Audrey Hepburn as Sabrina

nice recreation site, a bit too busy at night, shouldn't go there on your own at that time unless you are keen to get used or robbed. During plain daylight you can enjoy 900 ha bushes, trees and meadows. Hippodrom and cascade might be interesting for some. And of cause there is a chance for kids with playgrounds at the northern edge
