Riding bicycles in Amsterdam's streets and alleys when you see here, is a very dynamic place, attracting many people to play white of course also packaged many locals.

I often come here at night, the surrounding is very lively, the building on the canal is set against the lights, it looks particularly beautiful. There are many restaurants and cafes around, everyone eats coffee and chats here.

There is a good comedy show, the price is quite cheap, and the service attitude is quite good.

Hysterical improv American comedy in Amsterdam. This is where many of SNL's cast cultivated their talents.

Totally fun English-language improv comedy show. It's a surprisingly good way to get the pulse of Amsterdam in a night, because a lot of the audience is Dutch, and the jokes revolve around local and European politics. I give it five stars b/c I'm a little biased--have seen it grow up from a really scrappy summer thing to the big year-round show it is today. It may seem pricey, but you can sometimes get same-day discount tickets through the AUB ticket office. Also, it's good for drinks, but not so much for food--plan on dinner somewhere else before.
