Bundok Pinatubo Review

Hiking Mt Pinatubo was long ago on my bucket list - so glad it finally happened. After a thrilling Jeep ride to the starting point of the trail, a guide led us on our 1.5-2 hrs each way. The trail wasn't difficult nor ardous to hike. The views on top and lakeside of the crater, as well as the hike itself, are more than rewarding for everything.Not-so-fun fact the other morning: Our friendly host and owner of Casa Hermogina informed us, that last night the Taal Volcano erupted - the very day 1 year after we hiked there.

This is a team trip, so I would like to thank the organizers of this event! The number of people traveling is about 20 people. The departure point is Manila. We departed at 3 am. We can reach the destination in about 2 hours. Of course, this is not over. We need to take more than an hour of off-road vehicles and 2 hours of hiking, but everything is worth it. Mt. Pinatubo has a different history, the most recent eruption was in 1991, can be seen by Google or Baidu. To borrow a sentence from the organizers to describe Pinatubo: "storm aesthetics", really not fake! We took the SUV at 6:30 in the morning. In the morning, due to dew and other reasons, we didn't feel the ash that made people breathe uncomfortable, but we still had to wear a mask, because we used it when we came back. If you don't want to make your hiking shoes feel uncomfortable after getting wet, you must bring slippers because there are many "small ditches" on the mountaineering road. In addition to this, you need to pay attention to safety issues, after all, the accumulation of volcanic ash is still very easy to appear landslides, although the probability is small, but life only once! Protect the environment, you leave only footprints

To be honest, I have been to Angel City so many times and I have been there recently. The road is not very good for chartered cars. Come to Angel City is basically to play a bar. If it is not for friends to go and see, maybe I will not go to see it now.

The lake next to this volcano is very beautiful, especially the blue sky and white clouds, giving people a beautiful view. This volcano is even more beautiful. Although the temperature is very low, there is some snow, but this adds some fun to the beauty.

The island is surrounded by lively atmosphere. The Philippines is not just Long Beach, Cebu, Mint, Cologne, Aini Island. We only need to stay in Clark for one more day and the spectacular view of the Pinatumbo volcano can appear in front of you.
